"CHIAPANECAS" "A summer
fiesta in Mexico is a time for fun and laughter, with food and drink
and the beautiful sounds of the musicos. 'Chiapanecas' celebrates
the light, color, and graceful movement of the dancers of the state
of Chiapas ... But it is not so much a painting of dancers as it
is a portrayal of a fiesta and all that it means." -William Reese
